11. Use only with appropriate size drums.

be placed securely under the drum’s top lip.
13. Use only genuine replacement parts offered by the manufacturer when servicing

All repairs must
be executed by a qualified person.
14. Follow appropriate operating procedures. Always carefully drive/handle the forklift when the
forklift drum grab is attached to the forks and the product is loaded with a drum. Operate on flat and
hard surface only.
4. OPERATION
1. Place the unit on the floor or flat surface easily accessible to the forklift
.
Be sure that
T-
bolts are
sufficiently unthreaded to allow the forks to enter the pockets
.

Carefully slide the forks (do not use fork extensions)
into
drum
carrier’s fork pockets
.
Be sure that
the forks are in the pockets as far as possible
.

Hand tighten T-bolts to secure the unit to the forks (hand tool may be used but is not necessary).
Re-check bolts periodically during use for tightness.
5. Raise the unit and approach the drum so that the spring-loaded jaws come in contact with the
drum just below the top
lip.
Place the jaws to rest
securely under the top lip.

Drum can now be raised and moved where desired.

To release the drum
,
return it to the floor
and slowly pull back.
Adjusting the jaw gap:
Jaws must be properly positioned for a ~200 litre or ~110 litre drum by
adjusting the axle, relocating the bolt/linch pin and adjusting the middle support (to face forward if a
smaller drum size is used).

MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
Periodically carry out a thorough inspection of the product. If any defects, such as broken parts, wear
or other malfunction occurs, remove the product from service immediately. Inspections shall be
executed by a competent person.
Keep the product clean and store it in a safe place protected against mechanical impacts and
corrosion. Do not leave the product loose on the worksite.
Lubricate moving parts periodically.
