Warning

Unless otherwise directed, carry out these procedures with the power switch OFF
and power cord UNPLUGGED.
・
Make sure the unit is sufficiently cool before proceeding.

Remove the cover.
②
Disconnect the heater connector and remove wire ties.
③
Remove both fan case set screws and the ground
wire set screw.Remove the pipe from the unit.
Caution: Do not pull on the sensor.
④
Remove both fan set screws. Rotate the
heating element slightly and remove it,
taking care that it does not hit the
protruding portion on the upper part
of the fan case.
⑤
Insert the new heating element.
⑥
Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
Caution: Make sure the fan is set correctly
before turning on the power
switch. Installing the fan improperly
may cause a fire. Attach the fan label
facing the fan case.

Turn ON the power switch. Check the temperature.
Set the temperature control knob to 250
℃
(482 F)
Measure the temperature on the top of the outlet cover.
The temperature should be approximately 250
℃
(482 F).
If it is not, adjust by adjusting potentiometer VR1
on the printed wiring board as explained below.
Temperature adjustment
①
Make sure the unit is completely cool, then turn the power OFF and unplug
the power cord.
②
Remove the cover. Adjust VR1 with a straight slot or small cross point screwdriver.
Turn clockwise to increase temperature and turn counterclockwise
to decrease temperature.
③
After the cover is attached, turn power ON, and check the temperature.
Caution : If the adjustment level is set too high, the heater will operate continuously.
If so, turn the VR1 counterclockwise till the lamp flashes.
