The internal tank is made of anti-
corroding steel plate. Besides a
specially fired enamel coating, an
active anode also protects the steel
plate against corrosion.
The specially fired enamel design
provides long life in case of aggressive
(soft) water. The main outline
dimensions of the water storage are
described in Figure 1.
The horizontal placement of the
unit permits installation in locations
where vertical placement of the unit
would not be possible due to height
limitations.
3. STORAGE INSTALLATION /
DEPLOYMENT
Pursuant to regulations of Hungarian
Standards MSZ 2364 / MSZ HD 60364, the
hot water storage must be installed and
connected to pipeline and electricity by
a professional technician.
Before installation of the unit, a
professional architect has to analyze
the structure of the wall where the unit
will be mounted.
The following solutions are proposed in
case of different wall types:
•
Stone, brick and concrete walls of
thickness of 100-150 mm: hex head
bolts (Hungarian Standard M 12, MSZ EN
ISO 4017), bolt washer for wood
connection (M 12). It is mounted with
horizontal flat steel of 50 x 5 at the back
side of the wall.
•
Really thin walls: hex head bolts
(Hungarian Standard M 12, MSZ EN ISO
4017), bolt washer for wood connection
(M 12). Fixed with 2 U shaped steels of
60 x 40 x 3 (MSZ EN 10279) vertically at
the back side of the wall.
In case of wall mountable
horizontal
water
tanks,
an
installation distance of at least 70 cm
has to be guaranteed on the side of
the fitting area.
Wall mountable horizontal hot water
tanks are delivered in factory
adjusted “left design”, mounted
ready (see Figure 1)
Check the placement of the
suspension legs. If this installation
placement is suitable, then there is
nothing left to do, except for
mounting the unit on the bolts fixed
on the wall and fix the unit with bolt
washers, bolt nuts. Before mounting
the unit, check the tension of the
mounting bands, and tighten the
screws fixing the bands placed on the
front of the hot water tank, if
necessary.
If the distance between the screws
fixed in the wall and the distance of
suspension legs fixed to the unit are
different, then the followings should
be done:
1. Loosen the screws fixing the bands
(placed on the front of the hot water
tank) and set the bands together with
the suspension legs either closer or
farther. Take care that the
supporting
plate
under
the
suspension legs should remain under
the suspension legs in this new
placement, as well.
2. Tighten the screws and lay the hot
water tank on a floor being in the
same plane as the suspension legs.
3. Check that the suspension legs
remain in the same plane. If you
perceive a different case, then
loosen one of the screws. If the
suspension legs have moved in the
