Destruction of the equipment
This marking shows that in the European Union, all electrical
equipment must be disposed of in compliance with the
regulations in force concerning protection of the environment. To
ensure such environmental protection, this equipment must be
disposed of via the appropriate methods. The clippers contain a
battery that must be taken to an approved collection centre for
destruction and recycling. Any local regulations applicable take
precedence over this text.

Battery removal
Proceed as follows:
1. Discharge the battery by leaving the equipment switched on.
2. Unclip the battery cover (see Figure 4).
5. Remove the Lithium Polymer battery and take it to an approved disposal
centre.
6. Take the clippers to an approved disposal centre.
