Set TIME

1. Press MENU, the main menu displays on the screen:
2. TIME, select CLOCK, selected item will highlight to

green;

3. Use VOL+ and VOL- to select one of the three 

components of CLOCK—hour, minute and AM/PM;

4. Press CH+ and CH- to change the selected Parameter

as you wish;

4. Similarly, you can set a ON TIME/OFF TIME
5. Select SLEEP under TIME menu;
6. Press VOL+ and VOL- to set a count down timer off.

The time you set is displayed in highlighted green

and the SLEEP label in blue.

0:15 / 0:30 / 0:45 / 1:00 / 1:15 / 1:30 / 1:45 / 2:00
7. CHANNEL is useful if you would like to set a 

Power-on to a default channel.

8. Press M (MENU) again to exit the menu

Defining SPECIAL

1. Press M (MENU), the main menu displays;
2. Press CH+ and CH- to select SPECIAL, then select

C.CAPTION, the selected item highlighted with

green. When OFF displays, C.CAPTION is set off;

When C1 displays, C.CAPTION is set active.

3. Press CH-, highlight CC ON MUTE, press VOL+ and

VOL- to adjust its contents, process similar to the

above figure. When OFF display, no matter what is

set for C.CAPTION, it will not work. When C1 

displays while C.CAPTION set to OFF, the C.

CAPTION function will automatically recalled by the 

system.

4. Press CH- to select POWER RESTORE, press VOL+

and VOL- to configure this item.

5. Select AUTO TINT, press VOL+ and VOL- to 

determine whether to bring into use the automatic tint

tuning method.

6. Select MENU OFFSET, this item allow you to adjust

the position of the main menu displays on the screen.

7. Select MUTE B.G.C, you can select a more comfort-

able background color (blue/green/cyan/red/yel-

low/purple/white/black) of the main through press-

ing VOL- and VOL+

Press M (MENU) to exit a current menu.

Setting V-CHIP

This function enables you to block certain TV channels

in according to the V-CHIP requirement established by

the FCC.
How to use the V-CHIP function:
1. Press V-CHIP when the main menu is active, v-chip

menu displays on the screen:

2. Press CH+ and CH- to select a certain item, the

selected item is red highlight:

3. When you’ve selected an item, press M (MENU); it

will bring up the contents of this item.

4. Press M (MENU) to exit to V-CHIP menu.
5. Press V-CHIP, exit to the main menu:
6. Press V-CHIP again, exit main menu.

OPTION MENU

1. Press M (MENU), press V-CHIP
2. Select OPTION MENU, then press M (MENU) again,

the OPTION MENU is brought to the screen

3. Press CH+ and CH-  to select a item from the given

menu, selected item will turn to green while unselect-

ed items stay yellow

4. When HELP is selected, the contents of this item are

to be shown by pressing M (MENU), CH+ and CH-

will help in selecting a certain help topic. Press M

(MENU) to exit to OPTION MENU.

5. When NO-INFO RATING is selected, press M

(MENU), THEN YOU CAN SELECT between

UNBLOCK, BLOCK functions.

6. When NO RATING is selected, press M (MENU),

then you can select between UNBLOCK, BLOCK 

functions.

7. When ENTER PASSWORD is selected, press M

(MENU), a dialog box displays on the left lower area

of the screen. You can enter a 4 numeric password

here to prevent your personal settings from possible

changes by others. Press V-CHIP again to return to

upper directory. (Note: When a password is 

activated here, access to other menu under V-chip

menu will require this pass word)
