Hot Surface Hazard
Access ble parts may become hot when n use. To avo d
burns and scalds,
be careful not to touch any hot part and
keep ch ldren away.
Use oven m tts or other protect on when handl ng hot
surfaces such as oven shelves or d shes.
Use care when open ng the oven door. Let hot a r or steam
escape before remov ng or replac ng food.
Do not touch heat ng elements or nter or surfaces of the
oven. Heat ng elements may be hot even though they are
dark n colour.
Inter or surfaces of an oven become hot enough to cause
burns.
Dur ng and after use, do not touch, or let cloth ng or other
flammable mater als contact heat ng elements or nter or
surfaces of the oven unt l they have had suff c ent t me to
cool.
Other surfaces of the appl ance may become hot enough to
cause burns - among these surfaces are the oven vent, the
surface near the oven vent, and the oven door.
Fa lure to follow th s adv ce could result n burns and scalds.
