Refrigerator Features And Use
General Features
Your refrigerator will automatically maintain the temperature level you select.
The temperature control dial has 7 settings plus off. 1 is the warmest. 7 is the
coldest. Turning the dial to 0 stops cooling in both the refrigeration and freezer
sections. At first, set the dial to 4 and allow 24 hours to pass before adjusting the
temperature to your needs.
(Note: If the refrigerator has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for any
period of time wait 24 hours before plugging the unit in.)
Writing on Your Refrigerator Door
Your refrigerator comes with a surface on the front of the door that can be written
on using the included non-permanent markers. Simply write your notes and wipe
off using the eraser or other soft cloth. Erasing a note immediately after writing may
cause smearing of the ink. You will get better results erasing once the ink is slightly
dry. A mild household cleaner or soap and water solution can also be used if
smearing or ghosting of the ink should occur.
NOTE: Only non-permanent markers
should be used on the surface of the
door. Replacement non-permanent markers can be purchased at stationary stores.
You should only write on the front of the door. Other surfaces of the unit such as the
door trim, cabinet and interior were not made to be written on.
Storing your Markers and Eraser
The markers may be stored in the compartment on top of the door trim. The
included eraser comes with a magnetic strip attached to the back of the eraser
which can be attached to top or side of cabinet.
