Cleaning the blower (every 3 months) (this requires 2 persons)
● Remove the oil collector.
● If the inner decorative cover has been extended, unhook it from the decorative cover
holder and slide it back down between the main housing and outer decorative cover.
● Remove the ducting from the check valve assembly.
● Detach the main unit from the wall plate.
● Remove the 4 screws that secure the outer decorative cover and remove the outer and
inner decorative covers.
● Loosen the screws holding the main housing cover plate and remove the cover plate.
● Loosen the screws holding the air intake ring and remove the intake ring.
● Twist the nut in a clockwise direction to remove the blower.
● Take particular care when cleaning the blower that the clips on the blades are not moved or
lost, as this will imbalance the fan and cause vibration of the entire range hood, leading
to increased noise.
● To reassemble replace the parts in reverse order of disassembly.
● The blower should be cleaned once every 3 months.
● It should be done by professional personnal.
Cleaning the entire unit (every 6 months) (this requires 2 persons)
● The entire unit should be cleaned once every six months so as to maintain venting
performance and ensure a long service life.
● Unplug the power cord if the range hood will not be used for a prolonged period of time.
● It should be done by professional personnal.
