Operation
The StepUp installs between your MC cartridge and your MM phonostage. Be sure to
connect turntable ground!
GAIN is in three steps, low, medium, and high. Transformer loading is preset for
optimized transient response at each GAIN setting. This is with LOADING set to
maximum (large dot). The loading as seen by the cartridge can be lowered further
using the LOADING control. Adjust by ear for best sonic performance. The following
table gives the resistive loadings for the various setting combinations.
