“1

st

 Temperature Rise” Mode

This feature allows you to raise the temperature of your

heating floor gradually to limit the thermal stress of the

slab in the cold season and prevent damage to your

installation (cracks in slab…).
•  Switch ON and OFF the thermostat  thrice quickly

to activate this feature (it should take less than 5

sec) and put the temperature setting knob on room

temperature setpoint on cycle end.

•  Thermostat’s LEDs will blink slowly one after the

other to indicate that you are in «1st Temperature

Rise» mode.

•  After 7 days, the thermostat will exit automatically

the “1

st

 Temperature Rise” mode and control

temperature normally. If the thermostat is powered

off during this time (e.g. due to mains power failure),

the “1

st

Temperature Rise” program will resume from

the point it had stopped when the power is restored

(please do not change the thermostat setting).

Note :  to stop the 1

st

 Temperature Rise cycle, just

switch off your thermostat.

Where and how to install your

electronic thermostat?

The room thermostat must be installed at approximately

1,5 metre up from floor upon an interior wall, away

from direct solar radiation and any heat source such as

television, lighting and air draught etc.
The thermostat is made of two parts :
•  a plug-in front face (b).
•  A base to be fitted inside a Ø 60 mm flushmounted

box (a).

a)  fix the base of your thermostat in a Ø 60 mm

flushmounted box using 2 screws.

b)  the front face is just clipped onto the flushmounted

assembly.

Note

: to prevent parasitic air draughts, it is

recommended to block the electrical supply cable with

an insulatin material (glass wool etc.).

This electronic room thermostat is especially

designed for commercial premises and offices.

The room temperature can be set at the back of the

device /- 3°C limits.

Its input for set point reduction allows to connect

it to a time switch to provide additional savings,

for instance by automatically lowering room

temperature at night.

2 - Thermostat switching ON/OFF

Switch-On

: turn setting knob until the mark

is set at the desired temperature.

Switch-Off : turn setting knob to the left; a click will

inform you that the device is OFF.

3 - Lowering input

Your thermostat is fitted an input for set point

reduction that lowers automatically the desired

temperature.

•

No signal on input = the thermostat operates

according to the temperature setting.

•

230V signal on input = the thermostat uses a

“reduced” setting corresponding to the temperature

set at -3,5 °C.

4 - Operating modes

Select the desired operating mode by using the switch :
•

Automatic mode

: it is the

normal operating mode of your

thermostat. Your thermostat

controls the room temperature

based on the set point used.

Operation LEDs indicate the

current set point used :

  •  ON : frost-protection set point

  •  Blinking : OFF (load shedding)

  •  ON : reduced set point

  •  ON : comfort set point

  •  Blinking : Eco 1/Eco 2 set point

•  Permanent comfort mode :

your thermostat controls the

room temperature based on

current set point only and

ignores information from time

switch.

•  Permanent reduced mode :

your thermostat controls the

room temperature based on

current set point only and

ignores information from

timeswitch.

•   Frost-protectionmode  :

your thermostat keeps your

home at a minimum inside

temperature of 7,5 °C.

Use it only when for a period of

a few days or when you air the

rooms.

5 - Locking of controls

You may limit the temperature adjustment range

by using a mechanical blocking (for instance, 17 -

23 °C  range).
• Remove the setting knob.
•  Remove the small pins from their support.
•  Place them so as to define the

temperature range as desired.

Reset the adjustment button :

set the cursor of centre

section (e.g. to 20 °C), position

the button over it at the same

temperature and press gently.

Example :temperature can vary

between 17 °C and 23 °C
Note

: a stop at minimum position makes

off

We recommend the use of the

frost-free

 feature.

Adjustments/settings

The settings below are to be done on back of

thermostat. To have access to the back, pull up

thermostat front face and remove it from its base.

a)  Installation type

The switch

5

allows to select the value of the

reduced setting.

1 = lowering by 2

°C (suitable for installations

with high inertia, e.g. heating floor).

2 = lowering by 3,5 °C (suitable for installations with

no inertia).

b) Thermostat calibration

The potentiometer

6

is used to adjust the value

measured by thermostat (within a limit of +/- 3 °C).
-  Measure the room temperature using a reference

thermometer placed in room centre.

Check the temperature recorded against that

indicated by the thermostat.

•  for instance, if the recorded temperature exceeds

the thermostat temperature by 1

°C, set the

potentiometer to -1.

•   Or, if the recorded temperature is below the thermostat

temperature by 1 °C, set the potentiometer to +1 °C.

c)  activating/deactivating operating leds

Use the switch

7

 to activate/deactivate

thermostat leds. ON = leds are actives

OFF = leds are inactives. It only switches on

temporarily after acting upon the setting knob when

request is under way.
