4 Device description (Fig. 1))
1. Steel base frame:
2. Electronics with transformer for 24 volts DC; optional connecting voltage 120V/ 230V/ 240V - 50/ 60Hz;
3. 24V DC motor with self-locking gear and low-noise smooth running;
4. Adjusting rings for individual height adjustment;
5. Drive spindle with trapezoidal thread for spindle nut;
6. 2-gang socket for power supply to computer to be connected; TV, video, hi-fi and other electrical devices,
each up to max. 350 W with optional 120/ 230V or 240V and 50/ 60Hz;
7. The relevant voltage for the video connection is always present at the "Video" socket.
8. The relevant voltage is only present at the "TV" socket in the highest position. As a safety measure, this so-
cket is switched off when the lift is lowered so that the TV cannot heat up in the closed cabinet.
5 The plasma TV lift is installed as follows:
• Before installing the plasma TV lift, check the required amount of travel, and make the following modification
only if necessary:
• Move the internal adjusting rings that define the upper and lower height by the distance needed to modify the
amount of travel. Never modify the position of the outer rings, otherwise malfunctions may occur!!!
• The plasma TV lift must be secured to the rear panel and the bottom lugs of the furniture cabinet in order to
achieve stability. The joiner will attach a wooden panel to the two lower arms to suit his furniture. The TV must
stand on this panel (for fault-free operation).
• In order to make the lift system operate efficiently the TV is also secured to both lateral rails on the rear panel.
The electronic unit is placed onto a felt or foamed material surface next to the lift system.
• The earthing cable on the electronics (green and yellow) must be attached to the connector on the lifting sys-
tem.
• Provide an opening in the cabinet for making adjustments to the electronical part (height) and carrying out
inspections. Several ventilation holes should be made in the rear panel in order to provide efficient cooling.
• The power cable and the internal cables must not come into contact with sharp edges. A cable routing radius
of at least 3-4mm must be maintained over wooden edges.
