Installation
Please only perform the following work steps as a
pair:
1.
Plug in power plug, device starts in the [+SERVICE] menu.
2.
Open housing door and remove transparent safety panel.
3.
Pull out power plug again and place the measurement device on
the refrigerator (first set thermostat knob to 5–6), then route the
solenoid valve control cable (at the back of the refrigerator) from
behind into the housing of the measurement device (
4.
Unscrew the photometer baseplate and lift up forwards; connect
control cable to the fan plate, which is located on the housing back
).

Connections of the feeds and drains
On the left housing side is the sample feed hose (approximately 1.2 m
long), which under no circumstances may be shortened or lengthened. It
is specially designed for the sample feeding through SIGMATAX 2.
Above this is a PG screw connection with outside wall connector for the

Only qualified experts may perform the tasks described in this section of the
manual, in compliance with all locally applicable safety regulations.
N O T I C E
Use only earthed sockets for the connection of this device to the power supply.
If you are not sure if the sockets are earthed, have this checked by a qualified
electrician.
The power plug serves in addition to the power supply to isolate the device
quickly from the mains where necessary.
The entire measurement system has two power plugs (measurement device
and refrigerator). During the disconnection from the mains it must be made sure
that the correct power plug is pulled (e.g. labeling of the sockets).
This is recommended for long-term disuse and can prevent potential dangers in
the event of a fault.
Therefore make sure that the sockets to which the device is connected are easy
to reach by each user at all times.
N O T I C E
As the refrigerator itself is not provided with a fuse, it may only be connected to a
10 A fused CEE socket.
