Lamps operating time

The "Lamp History" menu provides the following information:

•

Total operating hours of lamp.

•

Number of activation and burn cycles of lamp.

•

Number of ignition attempts of UV lamp (triggers).

After a lamp change the display of the overall operating time is 
reset to 0 in the "Lamp History" menu.

 in the "System Checks" menu.

To reset the data for the halogen lamp (VIS visible), tap on 

Reset VIS

. The data for the visible lamp is reset to 0.

To reset the data for the deuterium lamp (UV), tap on 

Reset 

UV

. Data relating to the UV lamp is reset to 0.

Press 

OK

 to return to the "System Check" menu.

Toolbar

The right of the display contains a toolbar with various programs. 
Many of these programs can also be called up via a menu but the 
operation is the same.

6.8.1

Log on

Use this function to enter up to 30 different operator initials (each 
with a maximum of 10 characters) into the instrument. This 
feature helps record which operator measured each sample. For 
a detailed description, refer to 

section 5.2, page 27
