Time Based Sampling Program
After Initial Setup

At each new sampling location
1.
Apply power to the sampler and turn on the controller.
2.
Press MENU key on keypad
3.
Navigate to Programming
4.
Select Programming
5.
Navigate to and select Sampler Programming
6.
If program has not been modified since initial setup, you can scroll past steps 7 & 8 by pressing
the down arrow key.
7.
Select Total Bottles enter “1” and select OK
8.
Select Bottle Volume enter “3 gallon”
and select OK
9.
Select Tubing enter “
length of intake tubing to the nearest foot
” and select OK
10.
If program has not been modified since initial setup, you can scroll past steps 11 & 18 by
pressing the down arrow key.

Select Pacing then select Time Weighted, select NEXT
12.
With Time Weighted highlighted select Edit, enter “10 minutes” select OK
13.
Select Take First. Select Edit, select “Immediately” select Back
14.
Select Sample Volume, select Fixed
15.
Select Volume enter “50 ml”, select OK, select Back
16.
Select Pr
ogram Start, select Immediately on ‘Run’, select Next
17.
Select Program End, select Edit, select After Samples, press Select
18.
Highlight Samples, select Edit, enter “144” select OK, select Back
19.
Select RUN/HALT key on keypad
20.
Select Start Program
21.
If warned about clearing data, affirm by selecting OK

Sampler is now Running
NOTE:
Bold font
in step 9 indicates a variable parameter that is site dependent. Each time the sampler
is moved to a new location you will want to enter the length of tubing between the intake strainer and
the sampler to the nearest foot. Entering the tubing length ensures that the sample volume will be
within tolerance.
