4.5 Average mode
In the Average mode, the MET ONE 227 particle counter counts for the number of
sample periods programmed and then stops. The results displayed for both the channels
are the average results of all the cycles. The minimum and maximum number of counts in
all cycles are also displayed.
To program the MET ONE 227 particle counter for Average mode:

to select the Average mode.

to begin the count cycle. The count status display will display “Wait”
while the pump comes up to speed, then display “RUN” when the MET ONE 227
particle counter takes a sample. The MET ONE 227 particle counter will display
“Hold” for the programmed Hold time between samples. When the programmed
number of count cycles is complete, the MET ONE 227 particle counter will stop
sampling and display the Completed Samples screen (refer to
