Wall fixing 

ANTI-TOPPLE DEVICE 

HABITAT  provides  t his  anti-topple  device  to  increase  the  safety  in  your  home.  I t  is  primarily  intended  for  furnit ure  such  as 
bookcases,  cabinets  and chests  of  drawers and  should  be  mounted as  shown in  the following example.  

Please  note  the following: 

 

The anti-topple  device is only intended to be used with the HABITAT product it accompanies.  

 

For  optimum  funct ion,  the  anti-topple  device  should  be  mounted  in  accordance  with  the  recommendations  contained 
in  the enclosed as sembly inst ructions . 

 

The anti-topple  device must  not  be modif ied or changed  in any way.  

 

You  will  need  to  choose  a  screw  or  fitting  which  is  suitable  f or s ecuring  the  bracket  to  the  kind  of  walls  you  have.  If 
you are unsure  about  what  type of screw t o use,  please cont act your local hardware st ore. 

 

The anti-topple  device does  not  replace any of t he  other fitt ings cont ained in the furniture  package. 

 

The  furnit ure's t endency  to t ip  is  affected  to  a  large  ext ent  by  the  type  of  floor  it  stands  on.   Furniture  is  more  stable 
when  it  st ands on  a  level  wooden f loor,  and  not  so st able when  it st ands  on  thick  wall-t o-wall  carpet.  Optimum safety 
is, t herefore,  obtained  when your  HABITAT product  stands  on  a level wooden floor!  

 

Because of t he  variety of different wall t ypes , HABI TAT cannot provide  you wit h t he  exact  fittings t o fix t his produc t. 

It  is necessary  that  you  identify  the  type of  wall  you intend  to  fix  this  it em ont o  and  cont act  your  local  hardware  store t o  get t he 
appropriate  fittings.
