Level Accuracy Checking
1. Wipe the base of the level clean and clean the surface where the level
will be placed.
2. Place the level on the surface and note the position of the bubble within
the vial.
3. Rotate the level 180° and note the position of the bubble again.
The two readings should be within one half of a line. If not, the level needs
adjusting, see “Adjusting the Level” section.
Adjusting the Level
1. Remove the plastic, side, cover plate farthest from the small vial.
2. Use included spanner to slightly rotate the adjusting nuts.
3. Check the level accuracy, see the previous section.
4. Repeat step 2 if necessary.
5. Replace the plastic, side, cover plate.
Notes
Keep level away from heat/cold as temperature will affect the accuracy
of the level.
Apply preservative oil to the steel areas of the level between uses to
avoid corrosion.
