Using Your STEAM SYSTEM II
!
i
CAUTION
The MS-30 emits steam at
212˚F to sanitize the area
of use. This means that the
steam head and any of the
attachments get very hot
during use. Care should
be taken when using this
appliance and DO NOT touch
them during use except in
the approved manner as
outlined in this manual.

Using the Attachments:

Using the STEaM SYSTEM II
to clean and sanitize
special areas with all other accessories:
The remaining accessories included with the MS-30
STEAM SYSTEM II
, are used without the extension
poles. By attaching the Steam Jet Nozzle to the end
of the ergonomic handle, you focus the spray of steam
from the unit and it also serves as the base to which
all other accessories are connected. This provides you
with a powerhouse of cleaning at arm’s length.
attaching the Steam Jet Nozzle:
1) Be sure the unit is OFF, unplugged and cool.
2) Disconnect the Steam Head from the lower
extension pole and then remove both poles.
Follow the disconnect instructions on page 16,
steps 1-2 to remove all extensions from the
ergonomic handle. Be careful not to pinch your
fingers between the pieces as you disconnect them.
3) Once you have all extensions removed you can
attach the Steam Jet Nozzle (Fig 30) directly to the
ergonomic handle. Use the side ridges and the
internal indents to align the hole in the Steam Jet
Nozzle attachment to the orange PUSH button on
the handle. Holding the button down, slide the
Steam Jet Nozzle over the button and onto the
lower extension pole until the button pops into
place (Fig 31).
4) The Steam Jet Nozzle can be used alone to focus
steam for cleaning small surface areas and items
that don’t require scrubbing.

Hint:
The Steam Jet Nozzle alone
is great for cleaning and sanitizing countertops,
(Fig 32) stovetops, window wells and the door tracks
in shower stalls, patio doors and other sliding glass
doorways. The Steam Jet Nozzle is also beneficial
in unclogging shower heads since the powerful jet
will force open the water channels. Use the steam
to break up the grime and then wipe it away
(Fig 33).
5) If using the Steam Jet Nozzle alone, without any
of the special needs tools, follow the start-up
instructions as described on page 10-12 in steps 1-12
When you are finished follow the cool-down
instructions in step 13-14 pg 11-12.
