Removing the PDB
1.
Power off the server. For more information, see " Powering off the server ."
2.
Remove the server from the rack, if the space over the server is insufficient. For more
information, see "
Removing the server from a rack ."
3.
Remove the chassis access panel. For more information, see " Replacing the chassis access
panel ."
4.
Remove the power supply air baffle. For more information, see " Replacing the power supply air
baffle ."
5.
Remove all fan modules. For more information, see " Replacing a fan module ."
6.
Remove all power supplies. For more information, see " Replacing a power supply ."
7.
Remove the management module. For more information, see " Removing the management
module ."
8.
Remove the PDB:
a.
Disconnect cables from the PDB, as shown in Figure 7-49 .

Press the locking tabs on the PDB to release the ejector levers of the PDB, as shown
in
Figure 7-50 .
