Replacing the power fail safeguard module
WARNING!
To avoid bodily injury from hot surfaces, allow the server and its internal modules to cool before
touching them.
Preparing for power fail safeguard module replacement
Before you replace the power fail safeguard module, use drive LEDs to verify that none of the drives
attached to the storage controller is performing RAID migration or rebuilding. You can perform a
replacement only if the Present/Active LED on each drive is not flashing green, with the Fault/UID
LED off.
CAUTION:
Server error might occur if you perform the replacement while a drive is performing RAID migration
or rebuilding.
