Installing SD cards
Guidelines
SD card installation requires a dual SD card extended module.
The SD cards are hot swappable.
To gain redundancy and storage efficiency, install two same capacity SD cards.
Procedure
1.
Power off the server. For more information, see " Powering off the server ."
2.
Remove the server from the rack. For more information, see " Removing the server from a rack ."
3.
Remove the access panel. For more information, see " Removing the access panel ."
4.
Insert the SD card into a slot in the dual SD card extended module, with its gold-plated edge
facing downward, as shown in
Figure 6-31 .
