System maintenance switches
Use the system maintenance switch if you forget HDM username, HDM password, or BIOS
password, or need to restore default BIOS settings, as described in
. To identify the
location of the switches on the system board, see

DIMM slots
The server provides 6 DIMM channels per processor, 12 channels in total. Channels 1 and 4 each
contain one white-coded slot and one black-coded slot, and all other channels each contain only one
white-coded slot, as shown in
. In total, you can configure a maximum of eight DIMMs for
each processor.
