: When an Salience III series engine is used together with an S7503 chassis (with no
XGbus silkscreen), you must use the
product 7503
command in system view to
identify the device as an S7503 switch and then restart the switch.

chassis (with no XGbus silkscreen), the four SFP interfaces on the engine will not work.
