Solution
To resolve the problem:
1.
Verify that the devices can receive EVPN routes from each other:
a.
Execute the
display bgp l2vpn evpn
command to view EVPN routes.
b.
If no EVPN routes are received, verify that the devices use matching VXLAN ID and VPN
target settings.
2.
Verify that a manual VXLAN tunnel is not established between the IP addresses used for
automatic tunnel establishment:
a.
Execute the
display interface tunnel
command to display tunnel information.
b.
If a manual VXLAN tunnel has been established between the IP addresses used for
automatic tunnel establishment, modify the tunnel settings to ensure that automatic and
manual VXLAN tunnels do not share an IP address pair.
3.
If the problem persists, contact H3C Support.
VXLAN tunnel forwarding failure
Symptom
In an EVPN network, the device cannot forward traffic through VXLAN tunnels.
