CAUTION:

The two power modules on an S5800-60C-PWR switch can be different types, but the switch does not
support the mix of a 300 W power module (PSR300-12A, PSR300-12A1, PSR300-12A2, PSR300-12D1,
or PSR300-12D2) and a 750 W power module (PSR750-A or PSR750-D) or the mix of a PSR750-A
power module and a PSR750-D power module. For more information, see

• Do not install a 650 W power module (LSVM1AC650 or LSVM1DC650) and a 300 W power module
(LSVM1AC300 or LSVM1DC300) on the same S5800-54S switch.

In power redundancy mode, you can replace a power module without powering off the switch but must
strictly follow the installation and procedures in
Figure 19 and Figure 20 to avoid any bodily injury or
damage to the switch.

Hot swappable fan trays
The S5800-60C-PWR, S5800-54S, and S5800-32F switches use hot swappable fan trays for heat
dissipation.
Table 25 describes the fan trays available for these switches. For how to install or remove a
fan tray, see " Installing/Removing a fan tray ."
