Installing and Removing the Power Module

This chapter describes how to install and remove the power module and the power cord. To prevent

damage to the device and personal injury, follow the power-on and power-off procedures illustrated in

the following figures respectively.

Precautions

z

Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap and ensure a good skin contact before installing or removing

the power module.

z

Before installing the power module, make sure that the operating voltage provided by the external

power supply system is consistent with that marked on the power module, and the output voltage of

the power module is consistent with the powered device, thus to prevent damage to the power

module and powered device.

z

Do not touch any naked wire or terminal. Doing so may result in a personal injury.

z

Never place the power module in wet locations and prevent fluid from leaking into the power

module.

z

Do not often open the shell of the power module to prevent damage to the power module. If a

failure occurs on the internal wires or units, contact the technical stuff to troubleshoot the problem.

Tools

You need to prepare the following tools for installation and removal:

z

flat-blade screwdriver

z

Phillips screwdriver
