Use a mounting bracket to mark the cage nut installation holes in the front rack posts, as
shown in

Make sure the cage nut installation holes on the front rack posts are on a horizontal line.

Insert one ear of a cage nut into the marked installation hole.

Use a flathead screwdriver to push another ear into the same hole.
