As the debugging information shows, the username received by PPP is incorrect. The MSR
router has no problems.

Troubleshoot the dialup mode of the small home router.
A small home router typically uses the automatic dialup method. At first, the router uses the
normal dialup mode. If the dialup fails, the router will try various special dialup modes. Typical
authentication servers do not support special dialup modes. As a result, a large number of
authentication failures occur. When such problems occur, you need to troubleshoot the failure
reason for the first dialup failure.
TIP:
You do not need to be concerned about the abnormal usernames caused by special dialup modes
on the small home router.
