Install a SIM Card
The mobile NVR comes with a SIM holder for mobile
networking. Follow through the guide below to install
a SIM card to the mobile NVR.
Note Before a SIM card can work, a 3G or 4G module
must be installed as described in Install a 3G or
4G plus GPS Module (Optional) on page 16 .
1. Open the mobile NVR and access the
motherboard as described in Access
Motherboard on page 11 .
The top side of the motherboard then comes to
view.
2. Find the
SIM card
holder on the
motherboard.
5. Slide a SIM card along the hinged cover.
Note the notch on the SIM card should meet
the notch on the holder.
The SIM card's notch
should meet the
notch of the
holder.
3. Push back the
hinged cover to
open the holder.
4. Swivel the hinged
cover open.
6. Put down the
hinged cover and
push it forth to lcok
the SIM card in
place.
7. Proceed to
install 3G or 4G
device driver as
described in on
page 42 .
