Hot-swap a SATA HDD/SSD
The mobile NVR comes with an outside-accessible SATA port to allow hot-swapping a 2.5" SATA HDD or
SSD. Follow the guide below to hot-swap a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD. To install the internal SATA HDD/SSD,
see
1.
From the front panel of the mobile NVR, find
a long rectangle-shaped door, which has a
lock on it.
The door has a lock.
2. From the accessories, have one of the keys
to the door lock. Stick the key and turn it to
the "unlock" position as printed on the door.
3. Pull at the door handle.

The spring-loaded door then auto opens.

4. Whether the mobile NVR is powered on or
off, insert a 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the
slot by the position as shown below.

5. Swing and click the door back in place.

6. Retrieve the key and lock the door by turning
the key to the lock position as printed on
the door.
