Operation  Instructions

Before Use (Do Not connect the power plug as yet)

Control Panel

1. Adding water to the unit

Ensure that the plug on the Water Drainage Outlet of the unit is secure. Pour clean cold water
into the opening on the side of the unit as shown. Make sure not to overfill - check the Water Level
Indicator on the bottom front panel.

2. Adding ice to the unit

Once some water is filled, ice may be added to improve the cooling performance.

Note: For the Cooling function to operate correctly, water is required in the water tank; ice is
optional, and may be added for extra cooling if desired.

Close the opening on the side of the unit after filling water or ice.

3. Connecting the power cord

Connect the unit to a power outlet of the same voltage and frequency as indicated on the rating
label.

1. SWING button

 (see Fig. 1/2)

•  Press ‘SWING’ button on the Control Panel or the Remote Control once (the indicator light

turns on) to turn on horizontal louvre oscillation.

•  Press ‘SWING’ button again to turn off oscillation.

NOTE: The vertical louvre does not oscillate. It can be adjusted manually to the desired position.

2. TIMER button

 (see Fig. 1/2)

•  Press ‘TIMER’ button on the Control Panel or the Remote Control to set the unit turn-off time.

•  The timer can be set from 0.5 - 7.5hours in increments of 30 minutes.

•  The corresponding indicator lights turn on to display the set time.

•  For example, if 3.5 hours is set, the 0.5 Hr, 1 Hr and 2 Hr indicators are on.

•  Continue pressing the ‘TIMER’ button until all indicators turn off to stop the timer – i.e. to

  have the unit working continuously.

NOTE: You can also use the ‘CANCEL TIMER’ button on the Remote Control to turn off the timer at
any time.

3. COOL button

 (see Fig. 1/2)

•  Press the ‘COOL’ button (the indicator light turns on) on the Control Panel or the Remote

Control to start the cooling function. Here, the unit’s Water Curtain is soaked in water so

that the air blown out will be cooler after passing through the Water Curtain.

•  Ice can also be added to the water in the Water Tank to improve the cooling performance.

•  Press the ‘COOL’ button again to switch the cooling function OFF.

Note: Use the compartment on the side of the unit to fill water (and ice, if desired) into the Water
Tank before using cool function. DO NOT overfill the Water Tank.

4. SPEED button

 (see Fig. 1/2)

•  Press the ‘SPEED’ button on the Control Panel or the Remote Control to choose fan speed -

   High-Medium-Low.

•  The corresponding indicator lights turn on.
