Using for the first time
Checking the appliance and
scope of delivery
Before opening, check the packaging for
damage.
WARNING
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly with
a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the
appliance can be damaged quickly.
Take care when opening the packaging.

Remove the appliance from the
packaging.
•
Check that the delivery is complete.
•
Check the appliance and the individual
parts for damage. If this is the case,
do not put the appliance into
operation. Please contact After Sales
Service.
Cleaning the appliance
•
Remove the packaging material and all
protective films.
•
Before using the appliance for the first
time, clean all parts of the appliance
as described in the "Cleaning" section.
•
Before using the juicer for the first
time, rinse the cones, strainer, juice
container with warm water.

Assembling the appliance
•
Completely unwind the mains
power cable from the cable winder.
•
Place the housing with motor (6)
on a level, sufficiently stable and
easy-to-clean work surface.
•

Starting the appliance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Incorrect handling of the appliance can
lead to electric shock.
Immediately pull out the mains plug if
juice overflows.
CAUTION

Incorrect handling of the appliance can
lead to injuries.
Before replacing or mounting parts of the
appliance that move during operation,
disconnect the appliance
from the power supply.
IMPORTANT
Improper use of the appliance can result
in damage to the appliance.
•
Always allow the motor to run for a
short time (max. 15 seconds) and take
small breaks between each juicing
operation (15 seconds is
recommended).
•
If you want to juice larger quantities,
pause for a few minutes after ten
juicing operations to allow the motor
to cool down. The motor could
otherwise overheat.
•
Splashing can always occur during
juicing.
•
Make sure that the surface is easy to
clean.
•
Keep away from sensitive or hard-to-
clean objects or surfaces.
•
Prepare the citrus fruits by cutting
them in half and placing them close at
hand next to the appliance.
•
Press the cut surface of the halved
citrus fruit with a little force onto the
small pressing cone or onto the large
pressing cone.
•
As soon as you apply pressure to the
pressing cone, it starts to rotate. The
pressing cone rotates into the flesh of
the fruit and the juice obtained flows
through the pulp strainer into the
container.
•
Too much pressure on the
handle/juice cone blocks the motor.
