Purpose and Use

The Purpose of This Manual

This manual describes the standard models with a lifting height of 580 mm.

Use

LP1 is designed for permanent installation indoors or outdoors.

The lifting platform can be used in temperatures ranging from -20 to +40

degrees. In temperatures of less than zero, it is recommended that suitable

heating be applied underneath the platform.

The lifting platform can be used by persons with impaired mobility (e.g.

walking-impaired, wheelchair users, persons with pushchairs and sack trucks)

who have to negotiate height differences where wheelchair ramps are too

long or steep, and where an ordinary lift is impractical or too expensive.

Access and drive-off are at opposite ends of the lifting platform. For the safety

of the user, the access ramp acts as a gate, and there are handrails on both

sides of the LP1.

LP1 is designed and produced in accordance with current standards for nego-

tiating height differences from 0-580 mm. LP1’s lifting interval can be adjusted

between heights of 100-580 mm depending on local conditions.

Great importance is attached to the design and implementation of the plat-

form, such that the installation is attractive and harmonious in various housing

environments, both private and public.

Public environments include institutions, public buildings, etc., where the

lifting platform is subject to a certain degree of supervision. In these environ-

ments, the lifting platform must be locked so that it is protected against unin-

tentional use or games.

When the lifting platform is in use, it is understood that the user has been

instructed on its use, or that a skilled personnel is present to assist.
