7.5.8 Changing the lubricating position
Continuous lubrication of the guideways at operating temperatures below
0°C or with grease requires a modification to the lubricating position.
The lubricant channel is inside and carries the lubricant past the lubricating el-
ement to the guideway. Install the wiper as shown.

Change the lubricating position as follows:
1 Remove grease nipple or lubrication connection from the roller support
2 Remove screw stopper from lubricating position of wiper
3 Secure screw stopper with Loctite 243 and screw into roller support
4 Install lubrication nipple or lubrication connection in lubricating position
of wiper
The lubricating position has been changed.
