Mounting and installation
3.1 Safety instructions for mounting and installation
For proper functioning of the locking drive, the residual ripple of the power
supply must not exceed 2 Vpp.
Junction boxes should be accessible for maintenance work.
Cable types, lengths, and cross sections must conform to the specifications.
The type label is attached to the drive. With the drive installed, the type
label is not visible.
3.2 Preparing for mounting
Connect only high-quality power supply units to
the locking drive!
Low-quality power supply units can cause problems
in operation.
ATTENTION
See to the type label of the locking drive and the
technical data listed in section 2.3 on page 9
to ensure that your have selected the right drive for
your installation conditions.
WARNING
Do not crimp or damage the cables!
Make sure that the cables are routed and the
electrical connection of the multi-point lock is
made with the plug connection in such a way that
the cables cannot be crimped or damaged in the
area of the lock or faceplate during installation and
operation.
ATTENTION
The ELTRAL VAN locking drive is only suitable for
operating with 24 V drives ELTRAL KS30/40, K30
and K35.
