Calculation for hydro-drive for GTS iMAPLA generators
These calculation principles are relevant to the use of hydraulic axial piston
engines. The feed performance of the hydraulic pump can be found from
the central hydraulic systems or other components, such as the hammer
piping. Contact the manufacturer of the machine for the connections and
characteristic data.
Warning
Danger to life through falling loads!
y
Power breakdown with a non-prioritised flow rate.
y
If the speed drops strongly in the loaded state, or if the power
control on the hydraulic system reduces the flow rate, it will
no longer be possible to supply the magnet with nominal
current due to an underspeed on the generator. Parts can fall
in an uncontrolled fashion!
►
To ensure the hydraulic drive runs safely, the flow rate to the
generator drive must be prioritised.
