Interface fault
LED 4
The LED is flashing
y
A fault occurred on the interface between MMI and the
controller.
Note
When using an MMI with radio modem, a fault in the radio
transmission can also be the cause of the fault.
Troubleshooting measures
>
Carry out a system restart of the
i
MAPLA controller.
Ö
>
If the fault continues after the restart: switch off the drive unit. Check the
connection cable between the IMAPLA generator and MMI (for MMIs with
a radio modem): check the connection cables between the generator and
radio modem, where necessary, and also check the aerial connections
on the modules for visible damage. Check whether the plugs on the
connection cable are plugged in properly on both sides. Replace or repair
the connection line where necessary.
>
Carry out a restart again.
Ö
>
The MMI interface can be checked again using a separate MMI cable using
a system tester or a second MMI. This method can be used to rule out an
internal fault in the controller.
>
If the fault persists, please get in touch with the manufacturer or a party
authorised by the manufacturer.
