When creating a rule, you must choose a unique name for the rule and the associated events 

and metadata created. 

5.6.1.2.2  Analytic Type 

Select the specific analytic you need. This list is dependent on the license you have for your 

camera so you may need to request a license key to access specific analytics. Depending on 

the analytic you choose their may be further options to configure which you will see below. 

 

The standard analytic types are: 

1)  Region Motion Detector 

2)  Motion Data Only 

3)  Whole Scene Motion Detector 

4)  Tampering 

 

Depending on your chosen NVR/VMS and the vendor of the solution, you may have the option 

of adding an analytics license to the camera. 

Depending on your analytics license the following additional Analytics Types are available:
