Two initiating methods in Tone I:

Short the terminals S and G to initiate the sounder
strobe.

When the sounder strobe occupies two addresses,
the first one should be initiated through the control
panel.

can be initiated through the control panel.

When the sounder strobe occupies two addresses,
its second one should be initiated through the control
panel.
The wiring of the sounder strobe and direct control
through volt-free normally open contact of the manual call
point are shown in Fig. 5.
