OPERATION

Prepare

Plug appliance into a suitable
mains supply. The straightener
is ready for use. There is no
need to preheat the straight-
ener.

Always place straightener on a
solid, flat, heat resistant surface.
Do not place straightener on
any soft or uneven surfaces such
as carpets, bedding or rugs.
Never cover the unit.
The plates heat up to a high
temperature (200°C) quickly.
Straightening hair

Switch the appliance ON using

Separate a section of hair
approximately 5 cm in width
and smooth it out with a brush.
Start with the neck.

Place the section of hair bet-
ween the plates

of the
straightener as near to the hair
line as you can and close the
plates. Take care not to touch
the hot plates.

Hold the straightener in place
until the hair is fully heated.
This will be almost instant.

Once the hair is heated, hold-
ing the hair taut, carefully slide
the plates

along the section
of hair, in one smooth move-
ment all the way down to the
ends.
Notes:

If you have thick hair, you might
have to repeat this process on
the same section several times.

Keep the strands of hair smooth
to avoid ridges.

Repeat the procedure section by
section.

Repeat this procedure with steps
2 to 5.

After using the appliance, switch
off the appliance using switch

and disconnect the power
cord from the mains.
