Connecting an MP3 player or a USB memory stick
The device supports most USB memory sticks or MP3 players.
Note:
The device must be switched off while the USB connection is
being made. If it is not switched off, data can be lost.

Connect the USB interface of the MP3 player to the »

socket on the device, using a standard USB cable
or
insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick in the »

face on the device.
Note:
To remove the MP3 player or the USB memory stick, switch off
the device and pull out the cable for the data medium.
Inserting a memory card
The device supports SD and MMC memory cards.
Note:
The device must be switched off while the memory card is being
inserted. If it is not switched off, data can be lost.

Insert the memory card carefully into the »

« card slot
with the contacts facing down until it latches into place.
Note:
Do not use excessive force when inserting the memory card. Only
apply slight pressure.
The memory cards are resistant to dirt and moisture, but may only
be inserted into the device in a dry and clean condition.
Never remove memory cards during operation. This can damage
the memory card. This type of damage will invalidate your war-
ranty.
Removing the memory card

Remove the memory card from the card slot by pressing the card
inwards slightly until the latch is released. Then pull out the card.
