Setting the compression factor of the image quality

1 Set the rotary switch to the » SET « operating mode.
– Display: the »Settings« menu.
2 Select the »Compression« line with » VOL + « or » VOL – « and confirm
with » OK/REC «.
– Display: the »Compression« menu.

Select the desired factor with »
VOL +
« or »
VOL –
«.
– »Medium« is the basic setting: images are stored in JPEG format with
the compression factor 1:12.
– »High«: images are stored in JPEG format with the compression factor
1:20.
– »No«: images are stored in TIFF format without compression.
4 Press » OK/REC « to confirm the setting.
– The display returns to the »Settings« menu.
Note:
The compression factor selected is effective for the HIGH mode and the
NORMAL mode.
