Use the switch for telescopic
comb adjustment 

to select 

the cutting length (see the table
on page 13). Note the indicator

.

Place a towel around the neck
and shoulder of the person
whose hair you are trimming.
Make sure the person is seated
so that their head is roughly at
your eye level. Before trimming,
comb the hair so that it falls nat-
urally and you can see the direc-
tion in which it grows.

Press the switch 

to switch on

the appliance.

Note

The comb attachment is automati-
cally fixed when you switch on
the appliance.

Take off the comb by setting 
the telescopic comb adjuster 

to position 7. Carefully pull

the comb out of the side guides.
Avoid touching the blades.

Hold the sides of the adjustable
blade head 

and turn it to the

left, then pull it slightly. The
blade head comes out of the
housing (
