When operating the appliance
with the built-in Li-Polymer bat-
tery, or the additional standby
battery pack, only use the
power adapter supplied for
charging.

Check that the voltage indicated
on the rating plate of the power
adapter corresponds to your
local power supply.

The power adapter has an auto-
matic 100-240 V~, 50/60 Hz
transformer which works any-
where in the world. This allows it
to comply with all international
AC voltages.

This model includes 2 inter-
changeable, especially pow-
erful and long-life Li-Polymer
batteries. One should be
inserted in the hair clipper, the
standby pack should be put
into the battery compartment of
charging stand.

Both batteries can be charged
at the same time. When the clip-
per and the is in use, standby
pack can still be charged.

Switch off the appliance with the

Insert the charging plug into
the charging stand and power
adapter into the wall socket.
– During the charging process,
the charge indicator LEDs

light up red.
– When the appliance is fully
charged, the charge indicator

lights up green.
– When the second battery
(standby pack) is fully
charged, the charge indicator
LED

lights up green.

Pull the charging plug out of the
appliance socket and the power
adapter out of the wall socket.

Before first use charge up the
batteries completely for 24
hours. The charging time after-
wards is 3 hours (for the battery
inserted in the clipper) and 12
hours for standby pack (sepa-
rately in charging stand).

This appliance is designed to
charge and operate perfectly
between 15°C and 40°C.

If you switch on the appliance
while it is charging, charging
will be interrupted.
