4.3.15 Remote Control Function
The Remote Control function allows you to use your smart device to check your washing machine and get
information about its status. With the Remote Control, you can use your smart device to do many things that
can also be performed on the machine. Plus, you can use some features only with the Remote Control function.
You must download the Remote Control application from the app store of your smart device to use the WLAN
feature of your machine.
Make sure that your smart device is connected to internet to install the app.
If you are using the app for the first time, please follow the on-screen instructions to complete your user
account registration. Once the registration procedure is complete, you can use all products with the Remote
Control function in your house on this account.
During setup, Bluetooth must be enabled on your smart device and the device itself must be connected to
internet. Your smart device must be near the washing machine. After completing the setup, there is no need
for the Bluetooth to be enabled or for your smart device to be near the washing machine. You can use product
as long as your smart device is connected to internet.
You can tap "Add/Remove Product" on the "Products" page to see the products paired with your account. You
can pair these products on this page.
Once the application is installed, the Remote Control function allows your washing machine to send you push
notifications through your smart device.

Your washing machine will send you a notification through the HomeWhiz application in the
following cases:

When the programme is over,
•
When the door of the washing machine is opened,
•
When No water warning is given,
•
When a safety warning is given,

To use the Remote Control function, the app must be installed on your smart device and your washing machine must be
connected to your home network. If your washing machine is not connected to the network, it works as an appliance which
does not have the Remote Control function.
You product will operate connected to the wireless network at your home network. The controls carried out by means of
the application will be enabled through this network; for this reason, the network coverage around where your appliance is
placed must be adequate.

manual apply to the remote operation through the Remote Control function as well.
WARNING:
You need internet connection to use the Remote Control function. Otherwise, the app will not run on your

4.3.15.1 Installing the Remote Control App
For the application to run, a connection must be established between your product and the application.

If you are adding a product for the first time, tap "Add/Remove Product" on the app and touch "Tap here
to connect the product to the network". Follow the steps in the app to install it.
