OPEN/CLOSE

Opens and closes the disc compartment.

Switches the DVD player on from Stand-by mode (the red indicator
on the DVD player is lit) and off again (Stand-by).
ANGLE Selects various camera angles for certain scenes or passages on the
DVD during playback.
SUBTITLE For selecting and displaying subtitles on the DVD during playback.
AUDIO Switches between the original and the dubbed language during
DVD playback.
3D SOUND Selects 3D Sound during playback.
PREV 5a Selects the previous title or section during playback.

Selects the next title or section during playback.
ZOOM Zooms in on scenes during playback.

Freeze-frame and frame-by-frame playback for DVDs and video
CDs.
Pause for MP3 and audio CDs.
FR/SR 3 Switches to backwards picture search at various speeds during
playback.
FF/SF 4 Switches to forwards picture search at various speeds during
playback.
DISPLAY Displays various information on the television screen during
playback, such as the title or chapter number and playing time.
PLAY/PAUSE 8 ! Starts playback.
Freeze-frame for DVDs and Video CDs. Pause for Audio-CDs.
STOP/RETURN

Press once to interrupt tape movement.
Press twice to switch to ”STOP” mode.
MARKER Marks scenes on a DVD and sections on an audio CD.

PROGRAM For programming titles or chapters of video or audio CDs.
SHUFFLE For playing back titles/chapters on a video or audio CD in random
order.
DIGEST Shows the first frame of each chapter.
CLEAR Deletes titles or chapters from the video or music programme.
