Notes
The temperature is adjustable from 40°C to 90°C in
5°C increments. If you select a temperature higher
than 90°C, the appliance will automatically correct
it to within the available temperature range.
To turn off the keeping water warm setting, simply
lift the kettle from the base unit until the LCD light
goes out.

To manually stop the kettle at any time, press

The lid should always be closed during the keeping
warm process. If the lid is not placed on the kettle,
the kettle will stop to function.
When you remove the kettle from the base, all
settings will be deleted and it will return to the
default setting.
Prolonging the boiling point
This feature prolongs the boiling process for up to 3
seconds once the kettle has boiled. This is useful if you
are in an area of high altitude where water can come
to the boil at only 96°C. The extended boiling time will
bring the temperature nearer to 100°C and helps to
make sure that any impurities in the water are removed.
This is particularly important when preparing boiled
water for baby food.

Non-drip spout
To prevent water leaking from the spout, push the spout
open/close push button

it. To open the spout when you want to pour the water,

Caution
When pouring water from the kettle always hold the
kettle by the handle. Do not touch the metal on the
lid as it can get very hot.
Be careful – steam will emit from the steam vent on
the lid during boiling.
Make sure the lid is always on the kettle and firmly
fixed into place when you are heating water or
keeping water warm.
Do not open the lid when the kettle is boiling or
keeping water warm.
We recommend that you unplug your kettle when
you are not using it.

Tips
Use softened or filtered water to prevent the build-up
of limescale.
