7. Start-up
The RMQ unit is started up via the mains-water
supply. The RMQ is factory-set to mains-water
operation "Only". See section
7.1 Start-up via mains-water supply
Procedure
1. Turn on the water supply.
– The mains-water tank is automatically filled
with water.
2. Loosen the air vent screw of the pump. See fig.
.
– The pump will automatically be filled with water
within approx. 1 minute.

3. Retighten the air vent screw after approx. 1
minute.
4. Open the isolating valve on the discharge side (if
fitted) and the connected points of consumption,
such as toilet and tap.
5. Switch on the power supply.
– The pump starts and the indicator light "Only"
on the control panel is on (mains-water
operation). If the indicator light is off, set the
unit to "Only" by pressing the button. See
section
.
6. If the pump does not start immediately, briefly
press the [On/Off] button. See section
– The unit switches on, and the pump starts after
a few seconds.
7. Close the connected points of consumption as
soon as airless water starts running out.
– Maximum pressure is generated, and the pump
stops again after 15 seconds (stop delay).
The unit is now ready for operation.
To cut in the collecting tank, there must be a
minimum of 0,3 metre of water above the level
sensor.
8. Set the unit to "Auto" by pressing the button. See
section
.
9. Wait for approx. 10 seconds.
10. Turn on the points of consumption, such as toilet
and tap.
– Due to the pressure drop, the pump starts
automatically and will then start to self-prime.
If the priming has not been completed within 1
minute, the pump stops automatically (the red
"Alarm" indicator light is on). See section
.
Restarting:
Press [On/Off] once to reset the alarm
indication. Press the button again to start the
pump.
11. Close the points of consumption again as soon
as airless water starts running out.
12. Fit the front part of the cabinet.
The system is ready for operation.
Note
The float valve automatically controls the
mains-water supply.
