Cause
Remedy
1.
The motor does
not run.
a)
The fuses are blown.
Replace the blown fuses. If the new ones
blow too, check the electrical installation
and the submersible drop cable.
b)
The ELCB or the voltage-
operated ELCB has tripped.
Cut in the circuit breaker.
c)
No power supply.
Contact the power supply company.
d)
The motor-protective circuit
breaker has tripped.
Reset the motor-protective circuit breaker
(automatically or possibly manually). If it
trips again, check the voltage. If the voltage
is OK, see items e) - h).
e)
Motor-protective circuit breaker/
contactor is defective.
Replace the motor-protective circuit
breaker/contactor.
f)
Starter device is defective.
Repair or replace the starter device.
g)
The control circuit has been
interrupted or is defective.
Check the electrical installation.
h)
The pump/submersible drop
cable is defective.
Repair or replace the pump/cable.
