SIL or both SIL and SDA fails in report with Safe-Fly and echoUAT
Check SET MENU, General Setup, TT22/echoUAT, GPS Certification Level: A or B
(Old manuals specified C and the TT22 works with C but the echoUAT requires "A or B".)
Only SDA fails in report with Safe-Fly and echoUAT:
Safe-Fly is wired and configured for control but echoUAT is configured for app-only mode.
Change echo app "Setup Source" to "EFIS (COM1)".
Only NACv fails with Safe-Fly and echoUAT operating without EFIS
control:
This problem was fixed by uAvionix in October 2017.
Update the main software and transceiver software in the echoUAT.
NACv fails in installations with EFIS control:
GPS NACv must be set to "< 10" in SET MENU, General Setup, TT22/echoUAT.
Baro Alt fails at a high percentage in Transponder Monitor mode:
Make sure the Control Source is set to Transponder Monitor in the echo app.
Baro Alt can be received from the EFIS control interface in systems wired that way if the echoUAT
has March 2018 or newer software. Without EFIS control, baro alt must be picked up from the
transponder replies in Transponder Monitor mode.
Transponder replies only when transponder is interrogated With EchoUAT
If Mode 3A also fails and everything else is good, follow the procedure to adjust the EchoUAT
Transponder Threshold in the advanced settings in the echo app.
